ADAS Industry Training & Diagnostics

ADAS, one of the most advanced systems on a vehicle and also one of the most complex. What exactly is ADAS and how does it relate to what you do? Join this class to learn about ADAS, all the different subsystems and exactly how they work together. Calibrations are not a cookie cutter process; every manufacture has different procedures and precise equipment they use. Come learn the workings of adaptive cruise control, blind spot systems and lane watch cameras among other systems in this interactive class.

We will share where to find OE information and how to interpret it. The ADAS class will cover all the aspects of ADAS systems: System components, how they are used and how they work, Calibrations, Equipment, Position Statements and Diagnostics. Elitek will share with us the vast knowledge they have gathered over the past couple of decades as one of the country's leading ADAS calibration services.

Estimating & Damage Analysis

There is nothing more frustrating than not having a complete estimate the first time. What is your process in writing an estimate? Do your estimates include all of the proper documentation and process needed to repair the vehicle so you are not having to go back and revisit the estimate to add what was missed? Having to go back and create supplements to add procedures that could have been on the initial estimate can kill your cycle time and create unneeded delays in the repair process. This class will provide you with essential information and techniques to use when analyzing damage to a vehicle. Understanding how the accident happened, where to find hidden damage and proper repair procedures is crucial in building an accurate, complete repair estimate. Included areas of discussion will be: Understanding the accident background, what happened, Point of Impact, Point of Rest, Visual damages, Secondary damages, Photo documentation, Selecting the correct vehicle and options, Tram bar, lift, hoist, Gaps, Complete disassembly, Hidden damages, Repair Planning, OE Repair procedures, Scanning and calibration. Join CCC as they share their vast knowledge in vehicle estimating so you can rock it as an estimator.

Welding Technology & Advanced Metals

Welding technology in the collision industry has advanced tremendously over the last few years.  This class is designed to address some of these advances in a unique way.  There will be no lectures, or power point presentations, the majority of the instruction will be given in a hands-on style of training.  Join us and learn about the different metals used in today's vehicles, the different types of welders and when each one should be used.  How you repair a vehicle today is so important.  The advancements in both metals and welders such as steel, silicone and bronze and aluminum can be overwhelming and costly if not used correctly.  Persons attending this hands-on class will need to bring appropriate welding PPE (helmet, gloves, vice grips, etc.)

Blueprinting & Measuring for the Body Technician

You have heard the term blueprinting for several years now. What is blueprinting? Getting a vehicle in
for repair, and finding out partway through the repair there is structural damage that deems the vehicle
a total, is frustrating and will kill your cycle time. Do you want to improve your shop flow and improve
your efficiency? No, Blueprinting the vehicle structure is not just about looking up information on how
to repair a vehicle correctly, it is also knowing if a vehicle should be totaled before you start the repair.
Proper blueprinting techniques will save you time, money and headaches. Is your current blueprinting
process efficient or is there room for improvement? Join us for a hands-on class with an actual damaged
vehicle to learn proper techniques and processes to map out the structural damage so you can improve
your shop efficiency and cycle times. This would also be a great class for estimators as well, it will help
you understand what to look for when writing an estimate.
